Virgin Media O2 plans cuts that could reach a quarter of its workforce

Virgin Media O2 said job cuts will supply £300m of an £800m savings plan, and that the losses could reach 25% of its 16,000 employees. The company told The Guardian it will use more AI in customer service, network planning, and fault management, with most of the losses in roles that do not face customers.
